Bio
Sylvain Bitton: Master of Entertainment. The owner of LA hot spots Aventine Hollywood and Warwick has good party skills down to an art. Growing up in a family of restaurant owners, Sylvain was born and bred for his success in the nightlife business. Not only is the man responsible for much of Tinsel Town’s nightlife, but he picked up some slick style on his road to the top. He’s also curating one of the most irresistibly scandalous Instagrams we’ve seen in a while. As a successful and stylish man, Sylvain is the perfect person to inspire a little Hollywood glamour that we could always use more of.
Q&A
How do you start your day off?
Every morning, I wake up and check my phone for any texts or emails I missed throughout the night. Then, I get ready and walk to Starbucks for my usual coffee and croissant. It’s always the same order every day: an iced latte with whole milk and three Splendas.
You never leave home without…
My cell phone and my good luck charm, which I leave in my right pocket – I’ve had it since I was a kid and it’s kind of become its own tradition. And I never forget a business card!
What are your closet essentials?
Definitely a crisp white shirt and a black sports coat – can’t forget about a pair of black dress shoes either!
What’s going on in the background when you get ready? TV, music, candles, etc…
I’m always watching the news, particularly CNN, when I get ready. Gotta keep up to speed with everything that’s going on in the world!
What is your biggest fashion regret?
I used to wear Dickies religiously… That was an unfortunate phase in my life.
You always splurge on and you always save on…
I always splurge on my fiancé; I unintentionally save on nights out by dining at our restaurant Aventine Trattoria and lounge Warwick in LA.
What is one piece of clothing you wish you could steal from your 16 year old self?
My brown vintage Donnie Brasco leather jacket, hands down.
Your fashion motto is…
I’d much rather be overdressed than underdressed.
Your #1 Style Tip is…
To always have a fresh haircut, clean sport coat, and your own signature scent. I’ve been wearing the same cologne for 20 years!
