Logo mania is back, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going away anytime soon. A trend that really hit its peak in the early aughts, has made its resurgence and has been deemed ‘cool’ by the likes of every It girl you follow on Instagram.
The S/S 2016 runways were littered with brands placing their logo’s or names on everything from belts to tops and of course, bags. Even our underwear wasn’t safe, with Calvin Klein bra’s and panties having a major moment. #InMyCalvins, anyone?
What’s interesting about this trend, is it’s not just limited to the likes of Gucci or Moschino. Sure, Vetements, was behind it, but DHL’s logo has become a must-have this season.
If you’re apprehensive about the trend, may we suggest you start small, with maybe a sports bra or belt, and when you are ready to make the logo your own, go for a sweater or bag. Regardless, we think it’s going to get you tons of likes on Instagram.
