I love a luxury makeup counter as much as the next girl. There is nothing more satisfying than watching a sales lady take the most care to wrap up your new bottle of Chanel Marinière. But, a good old drugstore find cannot be trifled with.

On a recent trip to Shopper’s Drug Mart, we tried and tested an array of products to give you the down-lo on our favourite products.

First off is Dove’s Dry Shampoo. The Olsen twin’s hairstylist Mark Townsend swears by this product, and we have to agree with him. It goes on light, doesn’t feel sticky and bonus: the aerosol spray has yet to get clogged!

Rimmel London’s Scandaleyes kohl liner is another product we love. The liner goes on smooth and doesn’t smudge easily. #Love. Topping off our eye look, we are fans of Maybelline’s Great lash mascara. You’ll find this product in almost everyone’s makeup bag.

A trip to a drugstore isn’t complete without a trip down the nail polish aisle. Our go-to colour is Essie’s East Hampton’s Cottage. It rivals our love for Ciate x Olivia Palermo’s Sundays polish. A classic.

Finally, to take everything off, Neutrogena make-up wipes are our favourite things ever. It removes even the toughest of water-proof mascara, and leaves skin feeling super smooth, a touch moisturized.
