The Strategy is all about finding what’s inspiring the style of some of our favourite fashion insiders and trendsetters. We want to know, “Why are you wearing that?”. So, we thought it was appropriate for us to turn that question towards our editors and find out what’s going on behind the scenes of TS that inspires our style.
September issues are out! Flipping through the pages, it’s hard not to be influenced by the sweaters, the velvets and the mules. Since their arrival on shelves, we’ve been pouring over the pages and planning our fall wardrobes. While we don’t want summer to end, we are looking forward to layering up and adding some velvet details and chunky boots to our everyday looks.
The latest question to float around the office is “Have you been to Sorry Coffee Co. yet?”. The coffee shop is attached to Kit & Ace’s Bloor street location and serves coffee in the cutest cups that are designed by emerging artists. Their approach to coffee is basic, offering no frappe’s or skinny vanilla anything. We suggest if you are a Toronto local, you hit up this spot if you haven’t already. 102 Bloor St., Toronto
If there is one thing we love to do, it is travel. Like most, we find different cultures and ways of life a constant source of inspiration. I just came back from a trip to Germany. In addition to eating way too many pretzels (like, I don’t know if my leather pants will even fit me), I enjoyed visits to Biergartens, the Mercedes Benz museum and German wine country. Now, I just need to find a German-style restaurant in Toronto. Anyone have any suggestions?
