This morning, a friend (ahem, Olivia Bannock), shared a video on Facebook. At first glance at a screenshot of Paris Hilton, I kept scrolling. But, my early 2000s love for Juicy tracksuits and Stars Are Blind had me scrolling right back up.

The video is from W Magazine and it’s amazing. It’s joined by an article about the heiress/socialite. It rekindled my love for the unapologetic, self loving DJ, actress, model, philanthropist, singer…(?). As Paris breaks down her favourite 2000s trends, I came to realize, Paris Hilton is the original trendsetter. Sorry Kar-Jenners.
