Can't Live Without

Can't Live Without

Written by Natasha Lawrence

One of the many perks of our job, is that we get to test drive new products that are about to hit the market. These are some items that we’ve tried and now simply can’t live without.

Due to my extremely mixed heritage (Dutch, Portuguese, Sri Lankan, Irish…I could go on), my skin tone doesn’t always fit into a box of “light, medium, or dark”. I’m often the in-between colour, and too many times I’ve been told by a beauty associate, “we don’t have anything that would work on your skin tone”.

So, when Estée Lauder introduced their Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup, I was skeptical. I read so many great reviews on the product, but I didn’t think it would actually work on me. But, I tried it none-the-less, and I was shocked. Not only did they have an array of finishes, but they had one that actually matched my skin tone flawlessly. It’s an added bonus that it feels seriously light and doesn’t clog my pores. I would say wearing it felt like wearing just another layer of face cream. It also keeps my make-up in place. It’s basically everything one could want from a foundation.

Thank you Estée Lauder for creating this miracle product, and for stepping outside of the “light, medium, and dark” box! This TS team member applauds you. 👏🏽
