Four times a year, a box arrives at TS HQ that has everyone buzzing. I’m talking more excitement than when we heard about Taylor Swift’s new app release. That box is Unbound’s Quarterly Subscription Box box, the adult-only subscription box that delivers high-quality toys and accessories suitable for every kind of lover. Unbound Truth or Dare Cards

These cards are my favourite component of the box, so let’s start with them. In my childhood, truth or dare led to me revealing my crush’s name to my friends, to my having my first kiss (ok, closed mouth peck) at a party, and now, it’s led to new adventures in the bedroom. You see, this truth or dare isn’t the same one we played at sleepovers and parties in our preteens. The Unbound deck features dares like “Blindfold your partner. Guess or touch his (or her) favourite spot”, and truths like “Is there a position you’ve always wanted to try?”. Pick a card at random and spice things up in the bedroom. For me, it was a really sexy way to learn more about my partner.

Eye of Love Couples Pheromone Kit

I’ve been intrigued by pheromones for a while and really excited to have the chance to try Eye of Love’s Love on The Run pheromone parfums. The first thing I noticed about the ‘hers’ bottle was that I actually loved the smell. Pheromones aside, the smell was a sexy-musky scent that stayed on my wrist throughout the night. The ‘his’ bottle was equally delicious. Scientifically, I can’t say if it actually worked or not, but I did spend a lot of time with my face buried in my partner’s neck inhaling his intoxicating scent.

System Jo H2O Warming Lube

This H2O Warming Lube is an exclusive to the box (aka, it’s not sold on the Unbound website). I really loved this lube. I’ve tried a lot out there, but hate the sticky feeling that comes after application. This one didn’t get sticky for a while, making it toy friendly for me. While it didn’t warm up as much as I was expecting it to, it was warmer than most lubes on the market. It made it less of a shock when it was applied. And it should be noted: you should take a less is more approach with this one. A little bit goes a long way.

Femme Funn Marley Vibrator

The main prize of the box, retailing at around $100. This rechargeable and waterproof vibrator can be inserted in the vagina or the anus, with 7 different vibration modes and a super handy remote. If we scared you off on the word “anus”, let us direct you to Unbound’s article on “Assturbation“. It’s a thing, and this vibrator is perfect to ease you into it, mainly because of it’s heating function. The heat helps to relax your muscles and eases the penetration. Paired with H2O warming lube, it couldn’t be easier to insert and enjoy. The Marley is also pretty silent, making it so much easier to try out while my roommate was at home, and when I was with my partner, the remote control function was fun to play with.
