In case you missed the memo, we love Los Angeles. It’s a perfect getaway from our often-snowy TS Toronto headquarters, and is almost always sunny. We here at TS try to make a visit to the Golden State as often as possible, and that means, we also get to visit one of our favourite hotels as often as possible. We’re talking about Avalon Hotel, Beverly Hills.
The hotel located in Beverley Hills (duh), Avalon is minutes away from some of our favourite Beverly Hills haunts, but honestly, we’re pretty sure that if we could, we wouldn’t leave the hotel at all. It has 84 rooms, restaurant/bar, Viviane, an outdoor pool and of course, valet parking. With artwork adorning the walls, and modern colours and decor, each room, and every common space is an Instagram-mers dream, which is most likely why bloggers like, Lucy Williams and Chriselle Lim stop by. The Kelly Wearstler designed pool cabanas are just begging for photoshoots and selfie-sessions.
The in-room spa treatments, room service and Davines’ Momo amenities are also awesome selling points. When our schedule permits, we like to order room service, throw a face mask on, and nestle into the big beds to watch re-runs of Flipping Out. #Heaven.
