Today is Halloween, and many a TS team member has been scrambling for a Halloween costume. We know – we’ve been totally unprepared this year. We figured there may be many of you dear readers in the same predicament, so we decided to help you out with some super last minute fashion girl halloween costumes that can be pulled together with items you already have in your closet. If you don’t, they’d make a great addition anyways. And don’t worry; this list is free of Margot Tenenbaum reiterations.
Freddie Mercury’s Live Aid look was by far one of our favourite rock star moments. Get Freddie’s look with the simplest ingredients. A Calvin Klein men’s rib tank top paired with Nobody Denim Cult Skinny ankle jeans forms the base. Accessorize with a Valentino Garavani Rockstud leather bracelet, Htc Los Angeles’ studded belt and the ever classic Adidas Samba trainers.
For this look, all you need is four components: 1. Utility Jacket, we went with this version from Line. 2. An orange shirt, ours is DRKSHDW by Rick Owens. 3. A pleated black mini skirt, our version is by Rachel Zoe. 4. Combat boots – we went with the obvious choice of Alexander Wang’s Daria boots.
Achieve this look with four easy components. The first being, of course, a pink cardigan. Layer it over a white t-shirt with possibly a slogan or detail on it. For bottoms, in true Regina George style, go with a black leather mini. Lastly, walk around with a Starbucks cup. It’s not like you don’t already anyways.
