It’s universal knowledge that nail lacquer thrives during the summer months. I mean, is there anything more overwhelming than the number of pretty polishes that accumulate on beauty shelves during this time? It’s always a struggle choosing just one. Because summer beauty is meant to be fairly easy breezy, it helps to have a go-to nail polish for every pair of platforms, slides, and glads you may own – you know, one that you can count on to pull your look together in an instant. It may not cut back on your drying time, but it’s the easiest way to complete your look without being too matchy-matchy or looking completely out of sync.
To help you get started and spark inspiration, we’re sharing some of our favourite sandal-polish combos that will keep you looking chic this summer, no matter the occasion.

First up is the Zara leather gladiator sandal (a no-brainer for summer) which we’ve paired perfectly with a vibrant Hampstead Grove coral-red.

But because our favourite gladiators aren’t the most realistic choice for everyday, may we introduce the Topshop Flapjack sporty sandal. Whether your running weekend errands or taking that nature hike, we suggest pairing these with an electric cobalt blue pedi. Practical and chic.

A step down from the gladiator, and a notch up in comfort are these Zara Leather Roman sandals in Sage (a major colour trend for Spring). Complete the look with this melon-inspired polish from Butter London.

Next up is a Basic Buckled sandal brought to you by Charles and Keith. Suitable for everyday wear, and paired best with the perfect nude.

Last, but certainly not least, are the days we spend poolside lounging in our signature Adidas Duramo slides. Pair with a stark white nail polish to make the ultimate sandal-pedi splash.
