As we all know, the great Cara Delevingne has recently announced her official departure from the modelling industry. She may dabble in the art every now and again, as she has this week releasing a shot for an upcoming campaign for Stella McCartney and Breast Cancer Awareness, but for the most part we think this change of career is fairly permanent. As a Fashion Week mainstay the past few years, this marks the first season without her quirky attitude and famous pout. At the ripe old age of 23, Cara has blazed a trail that will not soon be forgotten.

For anyone else it may be considered premature, but we think a retirement party is certainly in order. A force to be reckoned with deserves to be commended, and for that we present a list of former models whose ranks Cara will be joining. 

In the realm of models-turned-actors, we run into plenty of familiar faces. One of those is none other than the king of Hollywood himself, Brad Pitt, among other such as Cara’s fellow VS alum Helena Christensen. 

We’re sure Cara will find her acting career to be very homey, and we wish her all the best!
