I love the holidays, and I pretty much look forward to them all year long. However, this year, I have realized I have been dealing with the same issue for the past few years, and  it’s time to talk about it.

As many of you know, the holidays are the busiest time of the year. Work, office parties, cocktail parties, brunches, lunches, shopping and family festivities – it’s a miracle I see my apartment at all this time of year. Meaning, that while I plan for my outfit to be multi-functional, my choice of bag is often neglected. I show up to work with a clutch, shop with a heavy work bag or attend a cocktail party with my daily handbag. A total outfit killer. But, this year, I am determined to fix this problem, and I’m fixing it with a style of bag that doesn’t get in the way of my shopping or holding my champagne flute with an appetizer plate, and can hold my lipstick, lip balm, cell phone and charger. This year, I’m purchasing myself a shoulder bag.

Thanks to brands like Gucci and Anya Hindmarch, there are now many options for me to pick from. I can go with a shiny metallic, a basic black, winter white or gold detailing. Options are endless!
