The TS Method:
The method to our madness.
Or, more appropriately, the madness to our method.
Here at TS, we find inspiration everywhere. The girls we see on the street, films that we watch and travelling to different places. Sometimes, the inspiration is subtle and cryptic, other times, the inspiration resembles that of imitation. This happened when we first laid eyes on TS Alum, Sue Williamson’s Louis Vuitton Speedy. We love Sue Williamson at TS but to be 100% honest, we first fell in love with her bag.
If you’re an avid Pinterest-er like we are, you’ve most likely come across her Louis Vuitton Speedy bag covered in patches at some point or another. If you haven’t, see below. It’s a dream and Team TS, or more like me, it’s Co-Founder was inspired.
Not only did Sue make her Louis Vuitton speedy completely original, but it shows off her personal style. I had to have my own.
Since the thought of covering a Louis Vuitton in patches hurt my heart, and I didn’t want to beĀ too much of a copy-cat, I decided to instead find myself an overnight duffel to cover in patches. After months of searching for the right bag, I finally stumbled across a Need Supply bag that fit as the perfect base. Since then, I’ve been scouting patches to adorn all over, a la Sue. My bag is now an original, that no one else has, and it shows my patch collection proudly.
Sue, you’re an inspiration. Thank you.
