The day we have been waiting for is finally here. After all the press and all the anticipation, the Christian Louboutin nail polish is finally on our hands. We made a very excited trip to Holt Renfrew, purchased the coveted bottle of red wonder, and rushed home to apply it. 

Rouge Louboutin could not be more luxurious, and the packaging is the perfect finish touch. The spike is the most noticeable feature, but below it sits a sleek black patent case, which covers a fair sized bottle made of cut glass. The presentation looks as good on display in your home as it does on your nails. 

Clocking in at around $50, we had high hopes for the lacquer. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Rouge Louboutin boasts needing two coats for a solid, chip resistant finish, but we found that in only one coat we saw stunning colour. ONE COAT! Whats more is that the giant spike on the top of the brush isn’t just for looks. It’s designed to resemble a calligraphy pen, which makes applying the nail polish a breeze. The colour is true to it’s claim, as well. The blue based, almost orangey, red is an exact match to soles of our beloved Louboutins.

Easy to apply, no streaks, one coat, killer colour, and a bottle to die for (seriously don’t trip while holding it, that thing is sharp)…Rouge Louboutin is everything we hoped it would be and more.
