With many fashion folk escaping the cold and hopping on planes to Miami Beach for Art Basel, we thought we’d share with you our Miami Beach Black Book.
With new restaurants and shops popping up near constant, we thought we’d list some of our go-to faithful places, so you can get your reservations in before your wheels touch down!
Eat
Seagrape, 4041 Collins Ave., Miami Beach – My mouth was literally watering as I remembered my dining experiences here. With it’s quintessential Miami Beach in the 40s interior and crazy good menu, we recommend stopping here first, or ending your trip with the memories of the Housemade Garganelli dancing on your tongue.
StripSteak, 4441 Collins Ave. – Located in the gorgeous Fontainebleau Hotel, you may just want to undo that top button on your JBrand jeans and get a room for the night. We dare you to not have 5 different items on the menu you need to decide between for dinner.
Sleep
The Raleigh Hotel, 1775 Collins Ave, Miami Beach – We’d be lying if we told you one of the main reasons we stay here isn’t the iconic pool. But there is more to the hotel than that. There’s the gorgeous and delicious Pool Bar for afternoon snacks, Restaurant by Michael Schwartz for dinner and the Babalu at The Raleigh South Beach Boutique, a one stop shop for all your gifting needs. You only need to leave if you are hitting the beach or a Basel party.
Shop
The Webster, 120 Collins Ave., Miami Beach – It ‘s hard for us to make a stop in Miami Beach without stopping by (and spending all our money) at The Webster. It’s a fashion girls dream with wall to wall Chanel, Moschino, Celine, etc. We just recommend wearing a bib, because you will be drooling as you run your hands over hot-off the runway Stella McCartney pieces. Thank you Laure Heriard Dubreuil for bring this store to us!
The Alchemist, 1109 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach & 1111 Lincoln Rd., Carpark Level 5, Miami Beach – This place is just as awe-inducing as The Webster. With one shop located in a carpark and the other in the middle of Lincoln Road, you are missing out if you don’t stop by. And you will definitely regret it if you leave empty handed.
