As excited as we are about the return of Spring, we’ve never really been fond of the unpredictable weather that comes with it. I mean, is there anything more baffling? I already cannot recall the number of times I’ve dressed for a sunny day only to find myself standing in a puddle of rainwater shortly after (hello, April showers). And it’s because of this that I often resort to my insta feed for whenever I need a Spring pick-me-up to remind me that sunnier days are coming. You see, we don’t always know what the weather will bring, but what we do know is that the following Instagrams are a no-fail way to get excited about Spring and stay inspired – rain or shine.
Warning: Spring fever may occur.
1. Kerry Pieri (@kerrybazaar): As the digital fashion/features director at bazaar.com, it’s clear Pieri lives a very colourful life or at least that’s what her instagram implies; it’s the perfect mix of palm trees, cityscapes, and Spring’s most-coveted accessories. What’s more are her daily original quotes that are sure to inspire you on any rainy day.
2. Lucy Williams (@lucywilliams02): A #TS Alum. Fashion blogger of ‘Fashion Me Now’. Consultant. World traveller. Not a bad life if you ask us! Just a short scroll and it’s safe to conclude that this young lady is the epitome of what it means to #travelinstyle. Bottom line: if you want to feel as though you are always on vacation, Williams’ insta is the place to be. The only down side? Major tan envy.
3. Gilda Ambrosio (@gilda_grazia_it): It goes without saying that Gilda Ambrosio is one of our go-to’s for quality street style inspiration. Whether she’s sporting a printed frock or bold sneaker, she experiments with fashion and does so with confidence, so it’s no wonder we’ve been following her for a long time now. We highly recommend that you do too!
4. Sofie Valkiers (@sofievalkiers): It’s true – nothing says Spring Fever quite like Sofie Valkiers’ instagram; bold blooms, beauty buys, and playful accessories are a friendly reminder that fashion need not be so serious, especially at this time of year. And because we can’t be her, following her on Instagram is the next best thing. What’s not to ‘like?’ Literally.
