It is no doubt that time of year, when your desktop background is of some far off beach, and you spend your working hours gazing out the window imagining life outside the office. Sigh.
Thankfully, a long weekend is approaching and we cannot be happier to see it. The first long weekend of summer! While not everyone can jet away to the South of France and enjoy a weekend of celeb-spotting and beautiful beaches, the idea of getting away is at the top of everyone’s minds.
As the above definition suggests, getting away does not have to mean to a cottage or down south. Getting away can simply be an escape from everyday life.
We’ve rounded up some of our essentials for making your stay at home vacation all the more comfortable.
For beauty, we suggest Bobbi Brown Beach eau de perfume, that will have you smelling like coconuts and sandy beaches, Le Labo Santal shower gel – an upgrade from your usual Dove body wash – and Shiseido sunscreen. If you plan on spending your days lounging in the backyard getting your tan on, SPF is a must!
