Charles de Gaulle Airport is busy this morning, sending home countless fashionista’s with sore feet, full iPhone photo albums, and notes upon notes of their favourite shows. It’s been a long month and now it’s time to recap some of our favourite highlights from Fashion Month.

New York Fashion Week

As usual, there is a sense of excitement that first day of NYFW. There is a feeling of rebirth and curiosity for what’s to come, and everyone is (green) juiced up and ready to get Fashion Month started.

Givenchy added to this excitement with a ticket giveaway to 820 lucky people. The decision was made by Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci, who said he had wanted a show that anybody could partake in.

Also clogging up our Instagram feeds during NYFW was Marc Jacob’s ‘One Night Only’ show at Ziegfeld’s. Model’s walked a red carpet that stretched half a block outside of the theatre, stopping for pictures at the step-and-repeat before heading into the theatre. Inside, there was a full theatre experience for guests, including popcorn, fountain drinks and candy.

London Fashion Week

Clara Paget, Cara and Poppy Delevigne, Suki Waterhouse, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell…most of our favourites hail from good ole’ England, so we already knew LFW was going to be brilliant for us street style-wise. Shows like Mary Katrantzou and Christopher Kane wowed us, while  Giles Deacon had a model line-up we would kill to go for drinks with (Dree Hemingway, Bella Hadid, Georgia May Jagger).

Our favourite ‘moment’ (if you can call it that) of LFW, was the amazing front row at Burberry Prorsum. Kate Moss made her Fashion Month debut at the show, Cara D brought along her girlfriend, St. Vincent, and Suki Waterhouse and Sienna Miller had us drooling over their outfits.

Milan Fashion Week

Models took selfies on the runway of Dolce & Gabbana, Milan’s annual amFAR gala, and Naomi Campbell was everywhere! Milan fashion week had so many highlights. But, our favourite by far, was Jeremy Scott’s car-wash themed show.

Leave it to Scott to create pieces that will be all over social media for the months to come. As per usual, his collections for Moschino manage to turn everyday items into best selling pieces that every blogger wants to get their hands on. A ‘Fresh’ spray bottle iPhone case? Check. A stop sign bag that says ‘Shop’ instead of ‘Stop’? Check. The ability to shop the collection almost immediately? Check. Jeremy Scott has thought of it all.

Paris Fashion Week

And finally, PFW. The final stretch of fashion month, when an IV of caffeine is basically attached to your body and those drug store flats are looking mighty inviting. As per usual, there was so much going on during the 9 days of PFW, that it’s hard to pick out only a few highlights. Louis Vuitton went futuristic, Balenciaga named a new Creative Director, the Olsen twins moved their show to Paris from New York, and Dior created it’s own hill.

Day five of the shows ended with a massive party thrown by Vogue Paris and their EIC Emmanuel Alt. Every big name in fashion was there to help celebrate the magazines 95th Anniversary. And the resulting party was epic. Our favourite looks from the night included Suki Waterhouse in Temperley, Zoë Kravitz in Balenciaga and Liya Kebede in Louis Vuitton.

The talk of PFW though, was of course, the Chanel show. King Karl created a whole airport terminal in the Grand Palais. Not one to leave out details, the terminal was complete with flight attendants, check-in attendants, buggies, and a waiting-area. Endless Chanel travel bags rolled down the runway, and Karl gave his take on the whole ‘socks and sandals’ trend with glam Teva-esque shoes with white socks. We just need to know, can we book flights on Chanel Airlines, like, now?

Finally, our favourite video is the one captured of Cara Delevigne pushing a paparazzi leaving the Chanel show, and then running away.   The model later tweeted “Dear paps, if you are in my way, I have a right to move you.” #IDFWU.

And that’s a wrap folks. Get hydrated, rest your feet, and start planning your shopping lists.
