Last year I threw a Halloween party. Scouring the aisles of Target to West Elm, I became inspired by all the creepy crawly pieces and deemed a party must be thrown, in order to decorate my apartment with these macabre accessories. One year later, many of the pieces are still out. I can’t help that my skull salt and pepper shakers match perfectly with my Damien Hirst ‘For the Love of God’ teacup, as a centrepiece for my dining table!
Now that Halloween has come around again, I went on a hunt for more decorative pieces to share with you. Keep these out when your guests or trick or treaters arrive, and possibly keep them out for the rest of the year. I’ve decided the above pieces are deserving of a spot on your bookshelf or coffee table, even after all the candy has been eaten.
Whatever you decide, just remember that Halloween doesn’t have to be all cobwebs and blood. It can be chic as well.
