Lately, I’ve found myself being drawn to trends that are typically outside of my comfort zone.

One of those trends has been metallics.

It all started with a nail polish, harmless as it may seem. From my finger tips the obsession spread and here we find ourselves today, talking about how much I love metallics.

Metallic finishes have become a neutral in the same sense as how some people use animal print as a neutral. While it can certainly stand out and be a bold wardrobe addition, when used in sparingly and in the right ways it adds a whole other dimension of interest. Whether you go for something small (like nail polish) or go all the way with a shiny, reflective, eye-catching dress.

There’s only one rule: Keep it simple!
