There are so many different way that people clean their make up brushes. Some buy brush cleaner, some use baby shampoo, we use a DIY natural brush cleaning solution. It involves 2 ingredients, and costs almost nothing.

Equipment

• Dirty brushes
• 1 cup hot water (we boil ours, and then let it cool for a few minutes)
• 2 teaspoons of white vinegar

Procedure

• Mix your water and vinegar (we’re fancy, so we do this in an emptied out Le Labo candle)
• Dip your dirty brushes in the mixture and give it a swirl
• Rinse brush under luke warm water
• Reshape the bristles
• Dry flat

 

Easy, right?  Now the tough part is making time to do this every week!
