When news of Westman Atelier spread through TS HQ, there was a buzz of excitement surrounding it. You see, a Gucci Westman make-up collection sounded like a dream come true. The make-up artist is know for her extremely good taste and incredible work in the beauty industry. Her clients are the likes of Jen Aniston and Anne Hathaway.
The 6 piece collection launched at Barney’s with a 11 foundation shades (more are on their way, and they’re all silicone free), 4 blushes, 1 highlight stick, 1 contour stick, 1 highlight powder and 1 bronzer. A small but mighty collection. The hero piece that’s destined to sell out? The Super Loaded Tinted Highlighter, that Westman has described as a 4-in-1 product. It can be used as a highlighter, a contour, a blush and a bronzer. We’re obsessed.
Westman’s idea behind the collection was to create modern make-up that were also clean products. The products themselves are soft, buttery formulas that melt into the skin, leaving a weightless, ‘second skin’ finish.
The packaging is a perfect representation of Westman’s style, and the make-up itself. Each product is packaged in minimalist, lightweight and portable containers with sleek designs.
With brushes in the works, we can’t wait to see what else Gucci Westman adds to this collection.
