The 90s are having a massive sartorial revival: tiny sunglasses, kitten heels, slip dresses. Our favourite trend to resurface: anklets.

In 2019, fashion girls started to wear the trend with delicate chains and pearl adorned strings. However, it wasn’t until S/S 2020 shows came out, that the trend really took off. Gucci, Versace and and more adorned their models ankles with their own variations. Outside the shows, it was (and still is) rare to to see a tastemaker in a Bottega Lido mule without an anklet to match.

The small accessory is the nicest touch to any ankle baring look. We’ve rounded up some of our favourites.
