Before COVID came around, we had many travel plans – adventures in Istanbul, a safari in Malawi, and beach getaways to Miami. However, due to closed borders, stay at home orders, and a general fear of Coronavirus, we’ve had to get creative with our travel. Like many others (*read: everyone we follow on Instagram), we took to the road and decided to see some of our own backyard.

Whether our journeys were two-hours, overnighters, or quick jaunts, we believe we’ve narrowed down the ultimate essential list for anyone about to embark on a road trip adventure for themselves. As 2020-seasonaed road-trippers, we pair these essentials with a glove compartment of sunglass options, a bag of TerraChips, and a highly curated playlist. With international travel being off the table for who-knows-how-long, it’s best to stock and up and be ready to hit the road at a moments notice.
