Stéphanie Delpon is quite literally the epitome of French girl style. She is elegant, simple, creative, and possesses that je ne sais quoi that strikes admiration into the hearts of many. Delpon is co-founder of creative hub Pictoresq, where stories are drawn up for luxury brands (like Christian Louboutin, & Other Stories, and Reformation among others) that place real Parisiennes in the centre of imaginative and visually striking fashion photography.

How do you start your day off?
With a glass of grapefruit juice. It wakes me up – I don’t like coffee. And I try to do hot yoga as much as I can to kick start my day.
What’s going on in the background when you are getting ready?
I need pop music to wake up. Anything can do the trick, as long as it energizes me!

What are your closet essentials?
Cashmere pullovers, boyfriend/cashmere coats (Acne, Mansur, Hermès), Isabel Marant boots, &Other Stories silk shirts in all colours, and blazers (Stella McCartney).
What is your biggest fashion regret?
Matching turquoise shoes with a turquoise bag and turquoise t-shirt when I was 17.
You always splurge on, and you always save on…
I splurge on coats and shoes. I save on jeans.
What is one piece of clothing you wish you could steal from your 16 year old self?
A shirt with Col Claudine, and all my Bonpoints stuff.
What inspires your style most?
My city, Paris! The old movies I watch and the books I read.
Your #1 style tip is…
Stay simple. Wear nearly no make-up. Be elegant – always. Even on Sundays and even when you go to the gym. You never know.
