Living in Canada comes with some requirements, including, but not limited to: enjoying maple syrup, learning to appreciate winter, being very polite, and occasionally spending a weekend or two at a cottage. Cottage life has become so synonymous with Canadian culture that no one here really says a cottage, but rather the cottage, as it is so common for families to have a certain lake house that they frequent when summer decides to roll around. With such beautiful lake beaches waiting for many of us to arrive, there are a few things that should be considered essentials for style minded people. Packing for a lake getaway can sometimes be a difficult feat, especially when so much of the clothing we own is not built for outdoor functionality.
