There are few people in the world so great that they only need one name. One of said great people is Iman. As a supermodel, wife, mother, business woman, fashion icon, philanthropist, and all around amazing person, there is nothing Iman can’t do.

There is no one that defines glamour better than Iman. With a classic success story of being discovered by a photographer while studying at university in Kenya, no one could have predicted her rise to fame to be as fast as it was. She not only modelled for nearly twenty years (no big deal), she was also a muse to Gianni Versace, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Yves Saint-Laurent (again, no big deal). With company like that, you better bet you’re gonna be a style icon. And style icon she is.

For kids growing up with a fascination for the fashion world, Iman was one of those figures that was like fashion and style royalty. She was in and on all the magazines, working with the top designers and photographers, always looking like the most beautiful woman in the world. She launched her own cosmetics brand, she’s contributed to and started charities, and she continues to stun everyone in the process. Iman was the woman to look up to. And we say she still is.

It’s difficult to name anyone these days who is more beautiful than Iman. A seemingly ageless wonder (Seriously, how does she do it??), she still wears plunging necklines and backless dresses better than anyone else, and she’s not afraid to admit it. Iman has got some bod. Legs and arms for days, and a neck that made her famous. Don’t bother trying to find person with better décolletage than Iman, because you won’t. That person doesn’t exist.

Though she exudes elegance and poise, she never seems artificial or forced. Her Instagram (the_real_iman) is filled with hilarious text posts, pictures, snippets of her life, and the occasional David Bowie. You would never expect that someone as idolized as Iman would have such a laid back personality. For someone who is very private about her personal life, she’s honest and real on social media. Which is not always the case for someone in her position.

Basically, we want to be Iman. We want to emulate her beauty, style, and overall being in every way we possibly can. What can we say, we’re obsessed. It’s hard not to be!
