When it comes to Fall, everything changes. Weather gets colder, colours get darker, and more often than not, a makeover hangs in the air waiting for us to pursue it.

Makeup can be updated on a whim, but deciding to change your hair takes a lot more consideration. Much like the colours in clothing and makeup, hair colours turn to the dark side as well. Many say farewell to the ombré, and welcome richer hues with open arms. Some take the leap to get some fringe on their forehead.

Once you’ve got the hair makeover bug, deciding how to best execute the idea can be challenging. Will it look good? Will I like it? Or, as those contemplating going short might ask, does more hair equal more insulation in the winter? There is so surefire answer…except that yes, sometimes longer hair does keep your neck a little warmer.

Since we could all do with a little more inspiration for our hair plans, we are sharing with you some of the images that are really catching our eye and sticking in our ideas. From the obvious (cough, Alexa Chung, cough) to the less expected. You’ll get the look we’re going for very easily.

If you have hair inspirations that you’re currently obsessed with, tweet them at us over on @TheStrategyStoriesCA!
