With a flagship store in Peterborough, and a private studio location on Hazelton Avenue, Wendy has created quite the shopping destination. The store is modelled after the impeccable style and taste of the Bannerman Family, who take part in running the show. How do you start your day off?

A capp!!!

What would your fashion spirit animal be?

Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. She would put on a gown and go because it made her feel marvellous!

What is one piece of clothing you wish you could steal from your 16 year old self?

I had a denim jacket that I spent hours and hours embroidering a scene on the back, I wish I had kept it…I could laugh at my workmanship…and I thought I was so cool in that jacket!

You always splurge on and you always save on…

I would always splurge on shoes, shoes, shoe! Save on beauty products.

What is your biggest fashion regret?

Not taking advantage of youth and looking gorgeous everyday.

What is your favourite outfit you’ve ever worn?

People get too attached to a particular look…I love it, get great pleasure, then I get over it….and fall in love again.

Your fashion motto is…

Casual dressing does not mean conformity.

Your #1 style tip is…

Confidence…without it you end up copying your neighbour and looking like an ad for a department store.
