It is very rare these days for me to meet someone new and not start the conversation with “Do you watch Hindsight?” and then looking totally deflated when the person replies “No.” For all the dear readers of The Strategy, let me tell you right now: You need to be watching VH1’s Hindsight.

The series is about Becca, who on the eve of her second marriage, ends up travelling back to the 90s the night before her first marriage. The ups and downs of Becca and her group of friends, her bestest, being the awesome Lolly, is totally entertaining, and we love all the references we forgot about – AOL e-mails!  Smoking in bars! Knowing your friend is upset by the colour on their mood ring!

But, as lovers of all things fashion, the best part of Hindsight (for us), is the 90s clothing. Chokers, plaid, Doc Martens -and none of it the new tailored and fitting kind (sorry Forever21). The costume designers behind the show have actually sourced all the pieces from vintage stores, making sure all the clothes are as pyjama-like as we remember.

So, we repeat: If you are not watching VH1’s Hindsight, you need to get on it.
