As a child of the 90s, we cannot be more excited that 90s fashion is coming back in a big way. We told you last year about our love of Fanny Packs (the Chanel kind, of course), and we are glued to the television watching shows like Hindsight (more on that later). Now we see models like Bella Hadid, Erin Wasson and Alessandra Ambrosio rocking RE/DUN denim and vintage Levi’s, meaning we are happy to announce, 90s denim is back!

Yes, the kind that Kelly Kapowski used to wear on Saved By The Bell, that for a period, we named “Mom Jeans”.

Many brands like The Reformation and RE/DUN are doing a new take on this denim, by taking vintage jeans, and re-making them into a more modern fit. Still high-waisted, still tapered at the ankle, and still more comfortable than low rise cigarette jeans, although, we’ll never be getting rid of those in a hurry.

When it comes to completing a look with these jeans, we are going the route of a more updated version of what our 90s selves would wear. Chunky knit Helmut Lang sweaters, or tight cropped Reformation tops, with Comme Des Garçons x Converse sneakers or Miu Miu patent leather pumps.
