Every year, supermodels, international actors, and some of the biggest names in entertainment jet off to the Cote D’Azur to take part in the Annual Cannes Film Festival. And like any year, what happens in Cannes certainly doesn’t stay in Cannes. For the past two weeks our Insta and Twitter feeds have been committed to all things Cannes from red carpet, behind-the-scenes, and every #BecauseWeCannes hashtag out there. As much as I love myself an original L’oreal girl squad dubsmash (see here), I’m looking forward to everyone’s back-to-reality posts and offensive cat selfies, I must say.



But first, before we dismiss all of the chaos from this year’s 68th annual festival, no film is complete without credits. And when you have virtually every one of Hollywood’s biggest names in one place, you are guaranteed some glamorous, regram-worthy style credits. We’ve been compiling our favourite looks over some time now, and when every look is a favourite, you know the fashion is almost too good. 



This year was a combination of true red carpet glamour and cool-girl chic. Glitzy metallic ensembles were a popular choice amongst many, including Sienna Miller, Eva Herzigova, and Lara Stone. Doutzen Kroes was the ultimate cool girl rocking a navy pant suit at the Independent filmmaker Project CK Party. Not far behind were Charlotte Le Bon and Rachel Weisz in their laid back jumpsuits ensembles. Though, it is arguable that the best red-carpet fashions had yet to take place until the launch of the amfAR Cinema Against Aids Black tie gala last Thursday. Here, Natasha Poly, Liu Wen, and Lily Donaldson will find themselves on our best-dressed list.



It’s true, we could go on and go about Cannes fashion, but if there’s on thing to be said about the past two weeks, it’s this: in Cannes style, we trust. Cue Slideshow.
