The weather is getting colder, the children are back in school, and unless you were lucky enough to score an invite to any shows during September’s Fashion Month, leaving the house becomes a chore. Netflix and Chill! AmIRight?
While I’d love to go out and show the world my new Mulberry Georgia May Jagger biker jacket, the idea of staying in, in my cozy Vince Crew sweater and Freecity sweatpants, is much more appealing. Thankfully, the TV world agrees, and as with every September, we can dive in to some of our favourite new and old tv shows.
Here is what I’m looking forward to:
Returning
Ladies of London – September 7th, Bravo TV @ 10pm: If you didn’t want the first season of this show, cancel your Saturday plans and catch up! It’s basically a classier, British version of The Real Housewives.
The Mindy Project – September 9th, Hulu: I’m pretty sure I don’t have to say anything about this show, and if I do, then “Ex-squeeze me?” Fox cancelled the show at the end of last season, but thankfully, the Gods at Hulu saw what a gem it was and will be streaming the show. THANK YOU!
American Horror Story: Hotel – October 10th, FX @ 10pm: It’s hard to say if you classify this as a new or returning show. New cast, new plot, I’m confused. But with a stellar cast joining this season (Matt Bomer, possibly Naomi Campbell!), I cannot wait to start watching.
The Walking Dead – October 11th, AMC @ 9pm: You are watching Fear The Walking Dead already right? If the 2 episodes that have already aired, aren’t getting you excited for the return of The Walking Dead, then how about Norman Reedus returning to our screens?
Newbies
Minority Report – September 21st, FOX @ 9pm: We all remember the Colin Farrell movie of yore right? While the details of the film are a little foggy, I am excited to see what the show has in store.
Limitless – September 22nd, CBS @ 10pm: Bradley Cooper has a cameo to introduce the series? Yep. Definitely going to give it a watch.
Supergirl – October 26th, CBS @ 8pm: I still miss Smallville, and am a bit of a sucker for a superhero. I’ve already seen the pilot of this one, and think it may give The Flash a run for his money…no pun intended.
Got all this? If not, then I seriously suggest you do yourself a favour and download the TV Show Time App. It keeps track of all your favourite shows, their premier dates and your personal progress. Never miss an episode!
