A lot has happened in the fashion world this week, and we thought it might be great to provide you with a quick recap of what went down. All these shake-ups have us even more excited for the fashion month ahead!
1. Good Bye Style.com, Hello Vogue Runway. After 15 years running, Style.com closed it’s doors and is now redirecting visitors to Vogue.com. The site was a go-to for many fashion industry folk and was a homepage to most during fashion months. To replace the gaping hole, Vogue has launchd Vogue Runway, and with it, Vogue Archives. So, don’t worry, you still will be able to see coverage of all the shows you weren’t lucky enough to get tickets to.
2. Derek Blasberg is leaving Harper’s Bazaar for Vanity Fair. The magazine is calling Blasberg “Our Man on The Street. Not only will he be writing for the magazine, but he will also have his own series of videos on the magazine’s website. Our main concern: Who will be taking over “Mr. Blasberg’s Best Dressed” lists?
3. A big shock Wednesday morning was waking up to hear Net-A-Porter’s founder, Natalie Massenet will be leaving the company, just before their merger with Yoox.
