Guys, something has been happening on the streets, and I really don’t know what to say or how to feel about it. That something is: leggings and Ugg outfit combos are becoming a thing. 

Lily, Gisele, Gigi, Kendall, and many more have been spotted  out and about in the combo, with more than one fashion publication making a note of it. How-to’s, buyer’s guide’s and “get the looks” are everywhere and Uggs are selling out fast from stores. 

What confuses me is this: Not that long ago, Uggs were considered, well, ugly, and countless people exclaimed “leggings are not pants!” And now those two, paired together, are a thing. Huh? 

A part of me is all for it. Hey, I spent most of my university years in that exact get-up (#trendsetter?). It’s comfortable, it’s easy, and nothing hugs your feet quite like a pair of Uggs. But then there is the fashion snob part of me that says, “Leggings and Uggs? Really?”. I will admit to you, dear readers, that I have been wearing the look around. Mostly to walk my dog or pop over to the grocery store, but I am nowhere near letting my fashion friends see me in the look. It feels lazy in that sense. But winter is getting harsher, and I long for comfort at al times.

So I ask you, readers: Are we on-board with the whole leggings and Uggs thing?
