Kendall is by far my favourite Kardashian, and Estée Lauder has been a name that’s been spoken in my household for years. Upon learning about The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder in collaboration with Kendall Jenner, I was beyond excited. I tested out The Edit Eyeshadow Palette, and have come to share my reviews.
To begin, I loved the packaging. It was simple, and elegant, yet young and trendy. A white cross-embossed case, with a splash of blue spray paint. I’ll be keeping this one on the counter for people to admire.
As a woman that doesn’t fit into the usual “Light/Medium/Dark” colour palette categories, I was so happy that the eyeshadow palette had a range of colours that all magically worked with my mixed skin-tone. While I originally thought I would never be one to wear a purple eye-shadow, one swipe on my lids showed me that this one wasn’t so purple as it was smokey, and it made my brown eyes truly ‘pop’. The array of colours allows for this palette to be my go-to when it comes to doing my make-up for work, events and nights out with friends.
What intrigued me the most about the palette was the “Black Light Technology” on the silver and gold powders. They provide a subtle simmer in the day and at night, the intensity is totally amped up.
