Sorry Canadians, or more specifically, Torontonians, but your wallet is about to empty itself out. Reformation just opened their first international store in our lovely city and we plan on buying everything.
The brand, whose fans range from Kendall Jenner to Zoe Kravitz, is selling their signature brand of California-cool in Toronto’s own Yorkdale Mall. What started in 2009 as a one-of-a-kind vintage retailer, soon became a full scale brand producing up to 30 styles a week, all while being heavily conscious of their environmental impact. Every aspect of the supply chain is put under the microscope for sustainability. As the brand’s motto goes, “Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We’re #2.”
The doors to the Toronto location opened up last week on July 11th, and doesn’t fail to disappoint. It’s styled like all other Reformation retail locations, with natural and recyclable materials, including vintage furniture and eco-friendly fabrics.
