It’s time to face it. Summer is long gone, fall is on its way out, and winter *sigh* is upon us. While we’re not looking forward to the -30 degree celsius weather Toronto is known to have, we are looking forward to pulling out our Acne Flight Jackets, bundling up in some serious knits and hygge-ing the shite out of our abodes.
We’re not ready to fully bring out the chunky knit blankets, but we’re getting started by lighting up – no, not that way. We’re talking candles. The quickest way to set a cozy mood, fill the air with scents that remind us of cozier times, and create a bit of an escape, is to light a candle, or two, or three. Spending $60-$100 dollars on a candle may seem extravagant to most, but we see it more as investing in your self-care. After all, is there anything quite like coming home after a long day, filling up the bath, lighting a candle and just slipping into the almost too hot water? There is no time for self-care, quite like the winter.
