Pre-Covid, many TS team members already worked from home, which is why we believe many of us are experts on the ideal #WFH wardrobe, the best bed/desk time ratio and staying function while staying comfortable. Granted, Covid has us spending a little more time than normal at home. Before, we would look forward to weekend brunches with friends and coffee dates with strangers we met on Bumble. Now, we fill countless hours at home with colouring activities, home re-decoration, and multiple cooking attempts. After years of pre-Covid WFH set-ups, and now, months of Covid induced time at home, we’ve narrowed down the absolute essentials one needs for their time at home, whether it be for a short period, or for a longer stretch.
Stay Comfortable
Obviously, comfort is key. Whether it’s just your lower half staying comfy on a Zoom meeting, or you’re lounging on a weekend, comfort is of the utmost importance. Check your denim at the door, and replace it with leggings, luxe lounge pants or a much-adored pair of sweats. Should a Zoom call unexpectedly come up, keep your waist-up dressing on point with an oversized button-up. Finally, pull your hair up with a scrunchie (we’re so happy these are back), and you’re ready for whatever at-home activities arise.
