As we all adjust to #stayhome orders and life in quarantine, we’re checking in with TS Alum to learn more about what their life in lockdown is like.
We’ve said it once and we’ve said it before, here at TS, Anine Bing is a true inspiration. Mom, designer, entrepreneur, lady-boss, Anine Bing is doing it all. Naturally, we had to find out how she is staying inspired while staying home during a life in quarantine.
Are you quarantining with anyone?
What does an average day look like, for you now?
I wake up early, make coffee, get my kids ready for the day, then get started on work. My day is filled with meetings, Zoom calls, fittings and photo shoots.
What is a typical outfit you’re rocking now while you’re staying home?
We just launched ANINE BING Sport, so I’ve been living in our sweatsuit. I wanted to create a new category that women could wear to look and feel polished, but still cozy. This collection mixed with your everyday wardrobe pieces is the perfect balance of style for our new normal.
For you, what is the best part of quarantine, and what is the worst part?
Best part: Lots of family time.
Worst part: Not being able to see my full team in the office. Also, long-distance learning with the kids has been quite challenging.
How are you keeping yourself busy?
Work always keeps me so busy, and I’m really grateful to do what I love for a living.
How are you staying inspired?
So many things keep me inspired. I love creating mood boards for my new collections from my favourite photographers, content creators, and books.
