We know the feeling – you’ve delayed having to find a Halloween costume for an upcoming costume party, or even put-off making plans themselves, and now, at the 10th hour you find yourself scrambling. We’ve all been there. But, have no fear! There is still time to get Halloween plans sorted.
While the day is coming up fast (we’re talking 4 days), we have some last minute Halloween costumes you can pull together with items in either your beauty cabinet or closet that require a minimal amount of effort.
A Character From Euphoria
Reach for the bright eye palettes you may have been too timid to use on a regular basis, and channel your favourite Euphoria star. Now is the time to experiment with your makeup and go wild with colours. Pair your look with edgy vintage pieces and nostalgic styles, and you are ready for a night out.
Mia Wallace
An oldie, but a goodie. Pulp Fiction’s Mia Wallace may be the easiest costume to pull off in a time crunch. As a white button-up is a closet staple, you may have one already on hand, as are black trousers. We like the full look of an unstructured trench coat and blue v-neck. Top it off with a red lip and raven-haired bob, and you are good to go. Easy.
Olivia Rodrigo
Pop culture called and suggested you put as many stickers as you can on your face to recreate Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour album cover as your costume. Top it off with a tank, what we assume to be a plaid mini, and a look of teenage displeasure, and you have yourself a costume.
The Stay-Home Option
If you have no plans lined up, we not only get you, but we also see you. If this is the route you have chosen to go for Halloween 2021, may we suggest cueing up Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu for an evening of watching Midnight Mass, Practical Magic, and The Craft. As for costume ideas, we suggest your comfiest of tracks, an application of an Innisfree Pore Clearing Clay Mask, and your finest glass of house red. You’re doing it right.
