Beauty At The Met Gala

Beauty At The Met Gala

Written by The Strategy

IN COLLABORATION WITH CHARLOTTE TILBURY
Taking a closer look at the beauty at the Met Gala, created using our favourite Charlotte Tilbury Products.

Now that you have more details on what the Met Gala is all about, we thought we’d take a look back at this years ‘Gilded Glamour’ red carpet. Attendees pulled out all of the stops when it came to their over-the-top outfits, which have been completely dissected by every media outlet since Monday night. We’re taking this opportunity to talk about some of our favourite looks when it comes to the beauty scene at the Met Gala.

What did Black Lively, Kate Moss and Lizzo’s Met Gala looks have in common? They all used the same hero product – Charlotte Tilbury’s yet-to-be-released Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer. While each of the three looks were completely different, we loved each one just the same.

Lizzo’s makeup and skincare was created by Alexx Mayo, who has worked with the artist for quite some time now. Her look started off with an Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask, Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil, our favourite product – Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and Charlotte’s Magic Cream.

Her gothic look was achieved with the aforementioned Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Bronzer, the Luxury Palette in Bella Sofia, Lip Cheat in Bad Romance, and Matte Revolution Lipstick in Festival Magic.

Supermodel, icon, and long-time Charlotte Tilbury fan and muse, Kate Moss, had her Met Gala makeup look created by Sofia Tilbury.

Kate’s look was all about glowing, gilded Hollywood skin with a bronzed, sun-kissed contour”

To achieve the look, Sofia defined Kate’s eyes with a brown feline flick using The Classic Liner in Classic Brown and Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes! Mascara. Her femme fatale red lips were created with Lip Cheat in Kiss N Tell and Matte Revolution Lipstick in Carina’s Love.

As one of the events co-chairs, Blake Lively had her makeup and skincare done by artist Kristofer Buckle. To prep her skin, Kristofer used Charlotte’s Magic Cream, Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil.

From there, he applied the Beautiful Skin Bronzer, Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk and blended her eyes with a combination of matte browns and metallic rose golds and coppers. Her terracotta-toned lips were created using Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Medium, Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna and Collagen Lip Bath in Gold. Last but not least, the flawless finish on her exposed skin was done with Supermodel Body.
