We’re kind of obsessed with Glossier here at TS HQ. Our top shelfie’s are filled with Glossier product, we’ve gotten our mothers hooked, and we recommend products to anyone who will listen. We’ve been to the LA Showroom, and the old New York Showroom, so when the new flagship opened in New York, we of course had to stop by.
We arrived at Glossier at precisely 10:55 AM. The store opens at 11 AM. Already a line was formed outside the pink and white exterior. Girls snapped selfies in front of the banners over the street, and a dad called his daughter to confirm which product he was picking up for her. There was an excitement in the air.
At 11AM on the dot, the doors opened and the selfies continued. Like the location in LA, this store had all Glossier products set out on display in a way that makes it easier, and even encouraged to test products out. We set out straight for the Generation G’s and deemed another tube in Zip and Jam were necessary.
Our favourite part about the store? We have two. The first being the giant room for testing product. Set up like a washroom, this space is lined with sinks, mirrors and every Glossier product. Perfect for testing out the Cleansing Milk Jelly before buying. Our second, the selfie spot at the back of the showroom littered with giant Boy Brow tubes. If you don’t take a selfie here, did you even visit Glossier NY? We think not.
We bow down to Emily Weiss and all that the Glossier team has done to create this space. From the windows (covered in Glossier’s signature pink) to the white exterior walls, the branding in this space is off the charts. Every attention to detail was paid.
If you’re in New York, we definitely thinks it’s absolutely necessary to make a stop to the Glossier Flagship. Your brows and Instagram will thank you.
