“The things we wear under our clothes are not only for a lover. They are for us, a sweet secret, an added luxury. And to think of you, my darlings, wearing the 5 things that make me, me, underneath it all, gives me a special thrill.” – Caroline Vreeland
Caroline Vreeland is everything the Kiki de Montparnasse brand stands for: strength, confidence, intelligence and sensuality. The fashion-royal, (her grandmother was legendary fashion editor, Diana Vreeland) is a singer, model, actress, writer, social media maven, and of course, style icon. She’s made her own name for herself within the fashion crowd and her affinity for glamorous, sultry pieces of lingerie cannot be missed.
Ever since 2005, Kiki de Montparnasse has celebrated intimacy and inspired confidence and independence in their customers. Their collections include ready-to-wear pieces, lingerie, swimwear and items of pleasure.
Knowing both, it only made sense that Kiki de Montparnasse, a brand known for elevated, luxurious lingerie, collaborated with the songstress.
The collection was released October 30th and consists of two styles: a Thong and a Bloomer. Both styles are offered in a variety of colour options, including, white, bordeaux, nude, black and red, and are made from crinkled silk chiffon. What makes the pieces extra special are the emblems that adorn them, that have special meaning to Caroline: red wine, lipstick, pasta, cleavage, and of course, a microphone.
The Bloomer retails at $75(USD), while the Thong retails at $55(USD). Both are sold exclusively through Farfetch.
