It’s everyone’s favourite wild child model’s birthday today, so naturally we want to talk about it. Cara Delevingne came seemingly out of nowhere a couple years ago, and we haven’t stopped see her since. One of the ladies responsible for the resurgence of the model, Cara also helped reinvent how models are seen by the public. Instead of just beautiful clothes hangers, models now give us insight into their personalities through social media, and have fans like pop stars do. Though, in Miss Delevingne’s case, rockstars.
Cara is no stranger to controversy. Between crazy parties, celebrity dating rumours, and a bizarre Instagram post every once in a while, Cara knows how to get people’s attention. Growing up with a privileged lifestyle and two older sisters, it’s no wonder that Cara’s got a drive to succeed. It’s part of who she is. And saying that Cara has succeeded as a model would be an understatement.
She’s become one of the most recognizable models in the world, taking over not only the runways, but Vogue covers and pages, and tabloids. Part model, part rockstar, Cara is definitely bringing in a new league of celebrity. Gone are the days of triple threats. Cara is the face of Mulberry, Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, DKNY, and most recently, Topshop…to name a few. She’s also now breaking into acting after landing a role in Anna Karenina. Cara is apparently an avid drummer, so there’s been rumblings about a music career, as well.

The fact that she’s so open on her social media, especially with her quirky side, makes everyone love her more. There are Twitter accounts, blogs, and more dedicated to Cara. Her fans, who track her through paparazzi pics, dole out updates on her love life and street style as well as some professional gossip sites.
Cara’s track record leaves us wondering what else she can accomplish. At such a young age and already taking over the fashion industry one magazine at a time, and now the rest of the entertainment industry, Cara’s got the world at her Burberry clad feet. And as a self professed tom boy, it’s never a dull moment seeing the fashion world through her eyes.
