Barely Famous Recap

We would be lying if we didn't have this phrase running through our heads most of the time.

Erin's response when Nicole Richie tells her date that Erin & her dad's are friends.

Like, kind of a big deal.

If you haven’t heard about Barely Famous yet, then we think you’ve been living under a rock. Vulture, Vogue, Variety, WhoWhatWear, every and any outlet, has been talking about this much anticipated show. Last night, the VH1 show premiered and it did not disappoint. Sisters Erin and Sara Foster are hi-larious and they left us wishing we were the missing ‘Foster’ child.

The docu-mock-reality series follows the sisters through their ‘everyday lives’ in Los Angeles, with breaks for their own commentary in between. What makes the show great, is that, instead of another reality show, the sisters are pointing out and making a joke of Los Angeles and Hollywood stereotypes.

We could really go on and on about how much we love the show – the witty one liners, the girls wardrobes (love), the celeb cameos, etc. etc. etc. – but we think it’s best you watch the show for yourself. Instead, above is a sample of our favourite lines from the mock reality show, or as the girls say “documentary”.

It seems like VH1 is on a roll with their new roster of shows (Candidly Nicole, Hindsight, Barely Famous). We never have to change the channel!
