Love is great, but I think we all can agree that chocolate is better. So, this Valentine’s Day, the team at TS is sharing with you some of our favourite chocolate recipes to share, or not to share with your significant other.
Chocolate Covered Strawberries – The classic in all the recipes to follow
What you need:
-Fresh strawberries
-1 cup of semi sweet chocolate
Preparation:
– Using a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate gradually, in the microwave at half power for 1 minute
-Keep taking it out and stirring it to make sure it doesn’t burn!
-While the chocolate is melting, line a tray with parchment paper
-Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, hold the strawberries by the stem and dip into the chocolate
-Coat the strawberry fully, and allow excess chocolate to drip off
-Set completed strawberries on parchment paper
-Place completed strawberries in the fridge to set for 30 mintues
-ENJOY!

Hot Chocolate Fudge over Vanilla Ice Cream and Cookies – The easiest recipe
What you need:
**You can either buy store ready microwaveable fudge, or melt it yourself
-1 cup of semi sweet chocolate
– 1 pint of your favourite ice cream
-2-3 of your favourite cookies
Preparation:
– Using a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate gradually, in the microwave at half power for 1 minute
-Scoop your ice cream into your bowl
-Slot in your cookies
-Pour over your fudge
-Now enjoy, Netflix and…chill

Chocolate and Banana Deep Fried Wontons – Betcha can’t eat just one
What you need:
-1 banana
– 1/2 cup of Nutella
-1 egg
-Package of wonton wrappers
-Oil for deep frying
Preparation:
– Slice and half the banana
-Whisk the egg in a separate bowl
-Separate the wonton wrappers and lay them out on a flat surface
-With a pastry brush, brush the edges of the wrappers with the egg
-Fill each wrapper with a smear of Nutella and a piece of banana
-Seal the wrapper and make sure they are tightly closed, with no Nutella dripping out the side
-Heat the oil to 350 degrees
-Add wontons to the oil, they cook quick, so keep an eye on them and flip them over when they start turning golden
-Once both sides are golden, remove hem with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel
-Let them sit for 5 minutes before devouring!
