When a favourite WFH brand collaborates with a favourite eyewear brand, good things are bound to happen.
One thing we love most about Warby Parker, is the brands ability to offer a wide variety of quality frames, all at an affordable price point. One thing we’ve been loving about Entireworld is that the brand made WFH and quarantine life a tad more bearable by infusing everyday basics, like socks and sweats, with exuberant colour – all with the same ethos as Warby Parker, to create high-quality yet affordable goods.
With a shared outlook on design, it made sense for Warby Parker to collaborate with Scott Sternberg, the founder and creative director of Entireworld, whose matching sweatsuits became a pandemic lockdown must-have.
With a collaboration that launched a few days ago, Entireworld’s Scott Sternberg took the classic Warby Hatcher frame, and injected his colour treatment. The ’70s-inspired aviator frames are now available in Blossom Pink, Jade, Midnight and Oxblood.
To showcase the collection, Warby Parker and Entireworld worked with four emerging artists to create an original piece of art for every frame offered in the collection. Olamide Ogunade, Tosin Kalejaye, Brooke Fierce Bronner, and Diana Ejaita all had the same direction – “capture the spirit of Sumer 2021,” with the main subject in each piece outfitted in the Hatcher frames and Entireworld clothes.
As huge fans of the Warby Parker brand, we love that since the company first launched, it has had the philanthropic mission of a “buy a pair, give a pair” program. While the same will still apply to frames in this collection, in celebration of the collab, Warby Parker and Entireworld are making a donation to the Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit committed to “ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.”
