It’s that time of year again. Time to start sharing Halloween Costume Ideas.
We love Halloween. Like, almost an unhealthy affinity for a holiday meant to excite small children. Our costumes are decided November 1st, for the following year, and our Pinterest home feed is filled with Halloween-related content from September 1st – sure that’s the algorithm, but still.
While we do enjoy dressing up, we still cringe at the thought of a ‘sexy nurse’ costume made of fall-apart fabric and packaged in a plastic baggy. Not only is it $65 and up for a wear-it-once costume, but it also breaks our heart to throw so much waste away after just one use. So this year, instead of shopping the aisles of Spirit Halloween, we’re opting for costumes made with pieces we most certainly will wear again.

We lived for the costumes of this (very short seasoned) reboot. To achieve the looks of the Upper East Sides most fashionable elite, we’re thinking blazers and button-ups with bike shorts, paired with a boot. Heck, you don’t even have to wear this look on Halloween. You can wear it tomorrow to the grocery store.
