Read all about it: Newsletters are back.
These days it seems we can’t scroll through Instagram, listen to a podcast, check Twitter or visit a website without the reminder that someone, somewhere has created a new newsletter (ourselves included). Now, as we are almost 1/4 of the way through 2022, we can’t help but wonder if newsletters truly are back.
In the past we have scheduled one day a month to ‘unsubscribe’ from the newsletter’s piling up in our inboxes, but now we find ourselves consciously clicking on the ‘subscribe’ button and eagerly waiting for our weekly reads. Last summer, we shared with you our favourite newsletters, but since, our list of newsletters has grown. We follow newsletters for style tips, for celebrity gossip, for world news as well as newsletters for business and life advice.
Career / General Life Advice
Though we recommended Hillary Kerr’s newsletter, Hi Everyone with Hillary Kerr, to you last time around, we still look forward to what the Co-founder and CCO of WhoWhatWear has to say each week. From recommendations on clothes to career and life advice, Hillary’s podcast has covers it all.
As the youngest editor-in-chief in Hearst Magazines’ history, we want to hear all of the stories Atoosa Rubenstein has to share. The former EIC of CosmoGIRL! shares life and career advice as well as stories from all of her adventures in her Substack/podcast, Atoosa Unedited. Again, we may have already told you how much we love Chrissy Rutherford’s FWD JOY podcast last summer, but since, the newsletter has had a total facelift. If you didn’t check it out then, we must insist you check out the TS Alum’s newly revamped newsletter now.
We have been following Aliza Licht’s career advice for a while now. When she released her book, Leave Your Mark, we bought it immediately and we scroll her Twitter feed religiously. You better believe the moment she released a newsletter we hit ‘subscribe’.
Our Pop Culture Fixations
Where we get our pop culture fix in newsletter form isn’t too far off from our pop culture fix on Twitter. As a ‘Bravo historian’, TS Alum Brian Moylan has created The Housewives Institute Bulletin with Vulture to spill all the Real Housewives tea. Yes, please!
When we learned Sophie Ross was coming out with a Substack, we eagerly awaited its arrival. Now that it is finally here, we’re thrilled. From Caroline Calloway to Danielle Bernstein, Sophie talks about it all on Sophie’s Substack.
All About Fashion
Since subscribing to Sarah Clary’s newsletter, we have been led to some of our finest denim button-downs and unique ways to wear our accessories. Though we’ve told you about this newsletter before, we must repeat ourselves and recommend you give Laundry Day a read.
Yet another TS Alum has a newsletter we love reading. Olivia Bannock created a newsletter that has helped us solve more than one ‘what to wear’ conundrum. Each week, Wednesday Wishlist, has us adding to cart with reckless abandon.
Obviously for fashion inspiration delivered straight to your inbox, we definitely think you should subscribe to our very own newsletter. With style tips from your favourite fashion insiders and new Top Picks each week, we’re positive this newsletter will quickly become a favourite.
